Whenever it would get close to Christmas and Raven would start to not listen or get mouthy I would threaten her with if she didn’t behave I was going to give Santa Clause a call. Cause Santa gave out his private home phone number to all the parents to call if their children were being naughty.
One day Raven was being particularly mouthy and said she didn’t believe that I knew the number. When I told her I did, she asked me what the number was. Cause as she put it, if I really knew it I could tell her. So without thinking I blurted out 555-SANTA. And after a few seconds of her scanning over my face for any hints that I may be lying, she bought it and started listening better . . . just for that day of course. Thank God she never tried calling it.
Unfortunately for the hubby and I she now knows the truth about Santa and I can not use that tactic with her anymore. Cause for some reason she has has the idea that a big fat jolly guy might not bring her presents if she’s naughty but her mom and dad will.

Anyone who knows me knows I have been trying to get my mom to sign up for an online dating site so she can get out there in the world and find that special someone. But most dating sites cost an arm and a leg to enjoy all the benefits and that’s not guaranteeing you will find someone and the sites that are free usually offer nothing of interest. Well not anymore!
Datehookup.com is a high quality 100% free personals site that offers much more then an ad. With Datehookup.com you get a blog of your own to keep the other members updated on what is going on in your life. You can also chat and email other members, without ever having to pay one penny for all these great services.
After browsing around their site for a while I sent my mom the link. Now I am just waiting to here if she joined or not. I will keep y’all updated on her status.

So how was everyone’s thanksgiving? Ours was actually pretty funny and pleasant. We went down to the hubby’s grandparents for dinner. Had good food and even better company. Afterwards, my sister in law and her guitar playing husband come over to our house and played some Guitar Hero 3 and then Halo 3.
So all in all this was a much better Thanksgiving then last years.

With all the talk about mortgages, rates, loans and the like. The whole financial jargon can get more then a bit confusing. And if you think personal loans are hard to understand, just look around at some Commercial Loans. Trying to understand the whole loan process is hard enough, add on top of that trying to find the best rate for your needs and you are ready to pull your hair out.
That’s why sites like earth.co.uk are a lifesaver. They have access to all the leading commercial lenders, which basically means that they can give you the best deals available. With earth.co.uk you get free commercial financing advice along with a no obligation quote. You just fill out a short form on their site and within 48 hours you will get a decision.
And don’t worry if you have poor credit because earth.co.uk may still be able to help you.

Well, it looks as if we will be going to a family members house for Thanksgiving. But that won’t be until like 6 pm tonight. But I went a head and fixed the ham I had here for us for lunch. The cheesecake I guess we will just save for tonight or tomorrow.

So it looks as if we are just going to be stay home for Thanksgiving. Mike won’t have is Mom’s car to use so we have no way of getting to families homes this year. It’s a good thing I have a small boneless spiral honey glazed ham in the refrigerator. I bought it the other day while we were out grocery shopping just in case we stayed home for Thanksgiving. I also baked a turtle cheesecake last night for dessert.

I have to admit that I kinda have a little bit of a fear about having a Heart Attack. The reason being is because it comes on suddenly sometimes without warning. And just the though of my heart seizing up without any warning one day is freighting to me. Fortunately for me I ran across InsideCardiacArrest.com.
InsideCardiacArrest.com is an informative site that provides you with information about Sudden Cardiac Arrest and the potential dangers to use all. It lists the risk factors for SCA and also gives you questions to ask your doctor.

Welp, tomorrow is Thanksgiving as I am sure y’all know. We are still unsure what we will be doing. Not sure if we will go to his family, my family or just stay home. I have a back up plan for having Thanksgiving dinner here if we do not go anywhere.
